Polish Pop Star Fined for "Offending Religious Feelings"
The Volokh Conspiracy has a post on the recent conviction for the crime of "offending religious feelings" in Poland of a pop singer known to the public as Doda. In a 2009 interview, Doda noted that there were no references to dinosaurs in the Bible and stated that it was “hard to believe in something written by someone who was hammered on wine and who’d been smoking herbs.” The singer was fined the equivalent of 1140 euro.
